Assalamualaikum,
As part of the publisiti committee to commemorate Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri’s fifty years of excellence, I would like to extend my greetings to all of you on behalf of the school.
This site aims to provide information about the school and up coming activites, as well as, invite former ‘Stprian Bloggers’ to send in their happy moments during their study years in STPRI.
2007 marks the Golden Jubilee year for the first all-girl secondary school in Brunei Darussalam. Many activities have been planned through out the year and the first event to kick start the Golden Jubilee celebration will be a ‘Golden Jubilee Run/Walk’ which will take place in March.
All the working committee are working hard to ensure that the events will be a success so please come back for more info and updates.
Once again I invite former ‘Stprian’ Bloggers to send me stories of your studying years at Stpri. Also provide me with a link to your site/blogsite so I can add it to STPRI’s Blogroll. Don’t be shy now.
Thank You.

But, sayang eh. only those yg b4 1990 saja invited while i only studied there from 1993 to 1996. Anyways, have fun yeah!! (mcm menyamal saja bunyinya.. Haha!!) Wow. This is nice. I also went to STPRI, but my days there started in 1997 to 2001. I haven’t planned on doing anything like writing up something about my happiest moments in STPRI, but I was just wondering.. Could I? Or is it just restricted to those who studied there before 1990?
Anyway, I’m telling my mom about this.

Please do Tina. We would love to hear about it. The advert is for the purpose of setting up a STPRI Alumni.
By all means. Do send us any memorable stories with pictures if you have any. That would be much appreciated

Hello. This is nice. Something for STPRIans. All the women, well almost all women of my family went to and still are going to STPRI. Sad though i was only there from 1993-1996. And I remember very well, the late Datin Chong was still there, Mrs Matthews (Science), Mary Cora (Maths), Mr Jeya (Maths), Mr Heinz (Science), Mrs Lohner (Eng.Lit.) and a few other teachers who are still there, and a lot more who have moved, retired or ehem no longer well you get what i mean. Lots of memories….the english club, the reading club, the drama club, the old canteen behind the audi, which had the best soto ever… and the sudden layout change in rooms, and offices sure gave me quite a shock everytime i come to visit. Should have pictures of how stpri used to look like. Speaking of which I have my mother’s old year book. I’ll go have a look. And i think i’ve misplaced mine. BTW whatever happened to the daily newsletter, bubbles??? After my year it went silent……and my sisters are being left out on bubbles experience. MUST revive it back.

Hi Weens… I just called your mum to make sure she is in the golden jubilee but you have beaten me to it… and this just proves your point… OUR family (like most of them) attends STPRI… and how uncanny that we have just spoken about the good old times just a few weeks before…
Anyway weens, i see that we share THE same teachers. I have loads of fun memories there..
and… what ever happens for this upcoming golden jubilee, details will be everywhere
talk soon…
PS: Dear Editor or manager of the web, thank you for starting a ‘blog’ to bring the gap between generation closer

I remember that I have a happy times while studying in STPRI, its been 19 years passed since the first day I step in the school compound after finishing my Pr.6. Still remember the most fierce teachers during my schooldays are our history, maths, accounts and english teachers(sorry, forgot the names already). A very big thanks to them who had been teaching me and because of them, I am what I am today..
