Hi, I was an ex-STPRIan too. Whoa! Its fun to hear that my former school is going to celebrate its Golden Jubilee. But, sayang eh. only those yg b4 1990 saja invited while i only studied there from 1993 to 1996. Anyways, have fun yeah!! (mcm menyamal saja bunyinya.. Haha!!) I will spread the word to my kaka2, cousin2 and my auntie2.

Wow. This is nice. I also went to STPRI, but my days there started in 1997 to 2001. I haven’t planned on doing anything like writing up something about my happiest moments in STPRI, but I was just wondering.. Could I? Or is it just restricted to those who studied there before 1990?
Anyway, I’m telling my mom about this.

Please do Tina. We would love to hear about it. The advert is for the purpose of setting up a STPRI Alumni.
By all means. Do send us any memorable stories with pictures if you have any. That would be much appreciated

Hello. This is nice. Something for STPRIans. All the women, well almost all women of my family went to and still are going to STPRI. Sad though i was only there from 1993-1996. And I remember very well, the late Datin Chong was still there, Mrs Matthews (Science), Mary Cora (Maths), Mr Jeya (Maths), Mr Heinz (Science), Mrs Lohner (Eng.Lit.) and a few other teachers who are still there, and a lot more who have moved, retired or ehem no longer well you get what i mean. Lots of memories….the english club, the reading club, the drama club, the old canteen behind the audi, which had the best soto ever… and the sudden layout change in rooms, and offices sure gave me quite a shock everytime i come to visit. Should have pictures of how stpri used to look like. Speaking of which I have my mother’s old year book. I’ll go have a look. And i think i’ve misplaced mine. BTW whatever happened to the daily newsletter, bubbles??? After my year it went silent……and my sisters are being left out on bubbles experience. MUST revive it back.

Hi Weens… I just called your mum to make sure she is in the golden jubilee but you have beaten me to it… and this just proves your point… OUR family (like most of them) attends STPRI… and how uncanny that we have just spoken about the good old times just a few weeks before…
Anyway weens, i see that we share THE same teachers. I have loads of fun memories there..
and… what ever happens for this upcoming golden jubilee, details will be everywhere
talk soon…
PS: Dear Editor or manager of the web, thank you for starting a ‘blog’ to bring the gap between generation closer

I remember that I have a happy times while studying in STPRI, its been 19 years passed since the first day I step in the school compound after finishing my Pr.6. Still remember the most fierce teachers during my schooldays are our history, maths, accounts and english teachers(sorry, forgot the names already). A very big thanks to them who had been teaching me and because of them, I am what I am today..

I went nosing around the web – ’surfing’ its called. I stumbled upon some STPRI web sites… I would like to add that, STPRI’s Alma Mater was first introduced in 1989. It was written by the principal then, Cikgu Hjh Norjum, and was sung by the class of Form 1B in the auditorium. (PS: I was in class 1B – 1989)
How about… when the drama club was first started. and STPRI’s Newspaper “bubbles” was initiated (What happened to it now?). I remembered we also started our Choir club then… LOTS of STPRI’s milestones are missing. Perhaps further investigation need to be carried out. HINT: School magazines would be very helpful
I look forward to things updated
PPS: I wonder if classes still perform during weekly/monthly assemblies and compete…

Would you care to send me some stories to share with others?
You may email me at zul_fadly@hotmail.com
It seems that what you have mentioned do not exist anymore. Maybe this year would be a good time to revive some things so that the younger generation have a taste of the ‘Real’ STPRI years

We were very impressed by the quality of the Gallery. We were also overawed by the scale of celebration when we were in your school recently. Our warmest regards to all staff and students of STPRI. Thank you STPRI for being such a wonderful host to us!

Yes it is Metallichick.
I am in the process of editing some pictures I took this morning and do a little write up about it myself hehehe… I will post some shots of the gallery but I think its better if people go visit the gallery first hand.
